But wait… don’t dogs need to eat meat?
The short answer is, no. Dogs are biologically omnivores. You might’ve heard it said that dogs need to “eat like a wolf”, but dogs have evolved genetically from wolves. Kitted out with new enzymes for digestion, domestic dogs survive (and thrive!) on a more varied diet. This all started 30-40,000 years ago, when wolves started befriending humans. Gradually they became more dependent on us for food and since our diet was mostly plant-based, they adapted with us. Such Good Boys and Girls.

Yellow Pea Protein
The humble yellow pea is a powerhouse of protein. It is a great source of fibre and carbs, and has a low glycemic index.
Goodness Greens
Spirulina, spinach and parsley provide our green colour, as well as protein and micronutrients - vitamin K, C, folate, and iron.
Nutritional Yeast
Cultivated nutritional yeast provides protein, vitamins, and nutrients, and brings a savory flavor that dogs love.
Oats
This New Zealand grown whole grain is a trusted source of low-glycemic carbohydrates and natural zinc, as well as a sneaky amount of protein.
Pumpkin
Pumpkin provides beta-carotene - the building block for vitamin A, and essential for eye health. It also contains dietary fiber to support digestion.
Linseed
Linseed, or flaxseed, is filled with Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids. These fatty acids help keep your dog's coat shiny and skin healthy.
Chickpeas
A super sources of protein and fibre. There are tons of goodness inside these legumes too, including calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron and zinc.
Kelp
High in iodine, for thyroid and adrenal gland health. Kelp also contains over 21 different amino acids, making it rich in protien too.
